Can you cry in space?Once you venture into the jar
there's no place left.
Light years close in on me.
Each vein restricts, the heart
beats backwards, hair snaking;
gasping, tears like glass beads
quivering in the void
around me and within,
feeling my eyes bulge and bleed,
turning to ruby gems
with sharp angles,
threading with my tears,
coiling around my neck and hands,
trying to fend them off.
Am I in a clinical waiting room
in a hell afloat, which has already
seen and been the death of me.
Through a portal, solar flare
rotating as the capsule
slowly tumbles.
The only sound left:
the broken static from Houston.

the words i never said in the place i never wasI rattled my can of cherry cola and lifted up my right index finger, pointing at him as I nudged the words,
"Ya think this'll get me into hell?"
He smirked like he always does, staring back out at the rest of the world. It took enough effort to get off the swing, who knows how much it would be to get back on again?
(I'm lazy too; there's another excuse for you)
"No, but I think that if you break every commandment there is, then you will."
His eyes were like doorways. Doorways that my imagination would often jump through in honor of adventure. Mesmerized, I couldn't respond. I continued to kick my feet and hoped that it wouldn't turn my swing over. Taking another sip from my

An interesting vignette with strong dialogue and deep philosophical questions.

A Letter to my PastI just wanted to ask you today why you ever bothered to talk to me. It seems to me that all we’ve ever been is a mistake; a bloody gash on a road map that goes nowhere.
And somehow, yet, you can look into my eyes and say you love me?
What did I do to deserve all the pain that I’ve caused? Clearly I’m flawed or something because you were a mistake I never intended to make. The last thing I wanted was to break you down to a point that pain was not even possible anymore.
But that’s all I’ve done, isn’t it?
Time after time, I told myself that it was worth it, but it never was; watching that blood wash down your face day after day was not worth a few smiles and maybe a chuckle. And we were laughing before; we’re laughing less now because we knew that what we always hoped for is impossible.
It wouldn’t have worked, would it?
Or could it?
I expected you to turn me down from the start; the scars on my heart are clearly visible. I’m not invi
