Smaller features are best for two reasons, first - they're more easily digestible as a reader, and second and perhaps more importantly, they should make the workload more manageable for you. You're better to set yourself a lower target that's easily attainable, and maintainable than set yourself up for something you're going to burn yourself out on. Consistency is key.
