Love lit? Want to share the love? DailyLitRecognition is looking for admins willing to pitch in and help keep this place running smooth.

We have a particular need for suggestion admins, especially deviants who can hunt down the good prose we know is out there somewhere. DLR suggesters send in three pieces per week, so if you feel like you can handle that, drop us a line! If you're more of a poetry person, feel free to send your application as well; please note in the subject line which you're applying for.

When applying, please be aware that in addition to three suggestions per week, you will also be required to post your individual DLR guidelines either in your profile or in a journal somewhere - more information on this will be given if selected.

[EDIT] So I did a dumb and forgot what applicants should include in their note :XD: Allow me to fix that:

- Are you applying to suggest poetry or prose?
- How much time for DLR is available to you?
- Do you or have you worked with other groups?
- Would you be willing to help with other DLR projects?

Sorry to have forgotten something so basic ^^;[/EDIT]

Once we get DLR back on track, we'll see about getting some fun projects off the ground, including the third special literature feature that I think people are going to be very excited about :D Don't forget to check out the first two as well!

Welcome to the first in a series of special literature features from DailyLitRecognition! We will be highlighting various unique types of literature that don’t get the same recognition as “standard” literature every few months; today, we will be putting the spotlight on Visual and Found Poetry!
A few weeks ago, we put up a thread in the backroom asking ALL of our admins to contribute their favorite examples of Visual and Found Poetry, and this is the result of the tremendous response. Please take the time to browse, read, comment, and favorite these lovely crossovers between poetry, collage, and reality.

I realize this will come off as an odd feature for a literature group, but only if you take it at the surface level. A good comic can survive strictly on visuals, which is why we decided to focus strictly on well written comics. When you keep the literary merit in mind as you read, you find that good art is a plus, but not totally necessary. A well written comic can be a sor

I'll give you a hint - the next special feature won't have any visual components this time ;)

Keep writing and creating!
