I Can No Longer Take the Mental ConstipationI can no longer take the mental constipation
That torments my mind and comes when plagued with writer's block
It feels like I suffer some form of retardation
The muses not only have left me but also mock
My attempts to ration, to think, to draw, and to write
Are so often bereft of proper coherent thought
Yet at this stone I often turn and command the self
Scribble your thoughts.  Do not worry or be so distraught
For logic, thought, images, and words will be so bright
The muses will come unto you and at your door knock
Watch the mental faculties enjoy liberation
The stumbling stone now roost for imagination's flock
Go now and revel in your mental augmentation

I Can No Longer Take the Mental Constipation by psycocat

Suggester says: I am fond of well-written sonnets,
as I like rhyming things that work well.
This falls into that category.

Ballad for a Bushy BeardIt's time to trim
this bushy beard.
Can't find my chin-
its disappeared!
A grungy sheep
I never sheared.
Wily whiskers
grow like weeds.
"Tame that beast!"
the family pleads.
Finally, my sloth
concedes.
I gathered scissors,
blades and combs.
I bought some Face-Nick's
Healing Foam.
I prep'd for paleface
worlds unknown.
With ninja blur
I sliced and chopped!
The whiskers snowed!
I swept and mopped,
repeated twice
before I stopped.
When the chin-fuzz
all had settled,
I felt so fit
so firm and fettled!
My nose was high
my rose was petaled!
Bursting forth
with baby-bounce,
I cleared my throat
and then announced
"Reduced the grunge
nearly an ounce!"
I bowed and basked
in loud applause!
My daughter's smile
then drooped and paused...
"I miss 'ol squishy Santa Claus."

From the suggester: It's nice to see someone having fun with words
AND getting rhyme and rhythms right.

Three Million DollarsBy no means was I surprised when the first pop-up appeared on my computer screen. I had been surfing through the internet for about 30 minutes when it happened, and I just assumed it was some sort of stupid virus. Or scam. I mean, it had to be, right?
“Click now to receive three million dollars! Just press “Accept”!”
How wonderful, the sarcastic little voice in my head meeped. No, thank you. I quickly searched for the red “x” button on the top right corner of the message and pressed it, hoping that wouldn’t bring me to another site full of ads and even more misery. Can’t I look through my social media in peace?

“Click now to receive three million dollars! All you have to do is press the button below!”
Another one? Now, this was just getting annoying. I repeated the same step as I did before. Holding

Three Million Dollars justayne

I never knew it could be so chilling to receive three millions dollars.
This story is a wonderful piece of intensity.

Atypical InterrelationsArtists are still unavoidably separated by commas, by distinctions. Though those who generalize them would believe they are familiar of the human psyche, they will still find themselves perplexed on how the diverse works. The artistic is still a haven of thoughts in clockwork, segregated in levels from the basic to the most extreme, or the familiar to the most confusing.
I still cannot relate how much this works, yet I find the skilled different to the challenged, the technical to the defiant, and the tranquil to the unruly. The expressions of the thought have gained their extremities on the corruption of their minds. Those who remain quiet will have their hands scorched by their own madness and deprivations. Those who are driven by their logic would rather be ensnared by their own rules of survival. And what of these things, when you believe you have achieved artistry to a level of mastery when only you are only a puppet of your own profession, when you only a specimen to a perpetual

Atypical Interrelations by SavilleHyde

A potent piece that expresses what it means
to the author to be a true artist.

Mord by EINsamer-wANDERER

A crime short story, dedicated to the author Myrddin van der Wind.
Interesting lay-out: A said murderer is killed, but in the end the killer
of the murderer was also killed by the murdered person
(she placed a poisoned glas of milk on the table before she was stabbed).
