Love Letter to the AbyssDear _______,
I am a creature who functions by filling up every moment with things that count. I clean. I cook. I do homework. I sew. I put things together and then I tear them apart. I offer to help. I never sit idle for long. When I sit idle, I think. When I think, everything I do that counts starts to boil down like too much water in a pot, running dry until all that is left is this vessel of me.
You know that about me. At least I think you do. Or, most likely, I pretend that you do. I pretend that you know me well enough to know that I run so quickly so I cannot see the emptiness within me. I pretend that you know that I fill everything up and that it’s how I avoid thinking about more complex topics. The girl that can give you a fifteen minute dissertation about the electron transport chain, who thinks in terms of C-24 and C-26 Fatty Acids, and who can think her way out of the most complex situations in the English Language strains under the complexity of what it means to stil

The amount of emotion Caillile was able to pour into this letter was amazing. Poetically written to the point where you are looking for something to tell you that this is not a letter, but a poetic masterpiece. A pleasure to read over and over again.
